Let us hear the written Word of God as recorded in Psalm 66:1-20, Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: 2 Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. 3 Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. 4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah. 5 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men. 6 He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him. 7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.
This is the Word of the LORD. Thanks be to Almighty God.
Father, as we hear the CMO (the Chief Medical Officer) almost prophesying that there will be a new variant of Covid-19 occurring in Jamaica, as tourists would cross over our borders, we decree and declare that such prophecies and predictions right now are cancelled, in Jesus name. We shut the borders of this nation of Jamaica against any other variant of Covid-19, in Jesus’ name, SARS Covid-2.
FILTER MIXED MESSAGES
We decree and declare that even where variants would come over our borders, that our immune system is now boosted, in Jesus’ name. The atmosphere is now filled, yeah, saturated with the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to destroy every variant, every mutating variety of SARS Covid-2, in Jesus’ name. We decree and declare that Jamaica shall arise and shall stand tall as one of the few anomalies globally where this SARS Covid-2 shall not ravage. Yes, a number of persons have died, but we thank You, LORD, because it could have been worst, especially since the Church was deceived in a major way, and there are many in the Church who have died as a result of being misguided; but we thank You that the people are waking up and they will not be deceived again by these liars, these deceivers, persons who have been greedy, persons who have succumbed to fear, persons who have become spokespersons for Pharaoh.
Yes, we decree and declare in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that the eyes and the ears, and the hearts of our people will become wise so that they will filter the messages; the mixed messages that are being sent and transmitted in the print, electronic, and digital media, and they will be able to make wise and right choices in Jesus’ name.
And so, we thank you, LORD, that every prophecy that is being made by those in different positions of authority that do not align with Your will and purpose for this nation of Jamaica, that those prophecies shall not come to pass in Jesus’ name, and we decree and declare them aborted, in Jesus’ name.
STOP MORTGAGING THE NATION
We continue to pray, almighty God, for the economy of this nation of Jamaica as we have seen where two new facilities from the International Monetary Fund – IMF – totalling U.S. 1.7 billion dollars were taken by our Government through the Ministry of Finance and this, they claim, will allow the nation to transition to what they describe as “greener pastures” and to place the nation on a more stable path in dealing with the war sanctions and also commodity shocks.
But Father, we pray in the name of Jesus, that instead of our looking to the International Monetary Fund that we would look to You because there are so many provisions that You have made, even among our own people, that we can draw on and access to ensure that our nation, and in particular, the economy of our nation, would be able to successfully navigate these choppy and precarious waters.
And so, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we pray that You will monitor this situation and where it is not in our best interest, we pray, O God that You would do whatever is necessary to ensure that the future of our children is not further mortgaged.
Mortgaged by leaders very often who are myopic in their operations and who would refuse to look to You for directions and for instructions, in Jesus’ name. And so, Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth that that particular situation be monitored, in Jesus’ name.
MEN, STAND BY THE WOMEN IN FARMING
We also note with concern reports that more young women than men are veering into farming and we see where the agriculture minister has noted that more young women are stepping up to fill the void which has been created by a number of older farmers who have left the farming profession. But even while this is happening, the young males, we are told, have little or no interest in becoming involved in agriculture. We believe that this is an orchestrated plot by the forces of darkness, yes, to place families in situations where they become totally dependent on Government resources; totally dependent on others for their subsistence.
But we pray, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, that even as we end this calendar year, preparing for a new one, that Father, there will be a change in the mindset of our men; young men, middle-aged and older men, that more and more of our men will become involved in agriculture.
While we celebrate women getting involved in agriculture, it cannot be that only women are interested in agriculture since men are expected to be breadwinners. It can’t be that our men are simply interested in driving fast cars. Simply interested in kneading out their hand middle. Simply interested in doing labouring work and a few artisan work here and there, and sports and other such things, but when it comes on to arguably the most critical responsibility of all – being providers for their family, they are not interested.
Father, we rejoice in that which You have done, are doing and will do, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, so that Jamaica shall become the righteous place for righteous choices, to lead righteous lives, to raise righteous families, and to do righteous businesses, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. So let it be. So shall it be and so it is. Hallelujah.
