The ACP-EU Treaty repercussions for society, family and churches

Dear Editor,

The Jamaican government seems determined to go ahead and sign the ACP-EU Treaty, in spite of several months of Zoom meetings between Chosen To Glow Ministries, The Jamaica Coalition For A Healthy Society, Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship, The Love March Movement, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

I am warning the Government of Jamaica and the general public of what will happen if this ACP-EU Treaty is signed.  I will show the effects that it will have on government, home, society and church.

These are the effects that it will have on Government:  

1.   Comprehensive Sexuality Education will be made compulsory in all schools, for children from ages 5 to 18;  condoms will be made available to students from ages 5 to 18;  children will be given the right to have sex without parental consent;  children will be taught to accept same-sex attraction as being right;  children will be taught to choose their own preferred “gender-identity”, resulting in boys telling their parents that they are now “girls”, and girls telling their parents that they are now “boys”.  

2.   The Constitution of Jamaica (1962) and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms (2011) will be fundamentally changed to give the “right” to people in “same-sex relationships” to have sex and to get married.

3. Christians, who teach others, whether privately or publicly, that it is a “sin” in the sight of God for people of the same-sex to engage in sex, or that it is a “sin” in the sight of God for people of the same-sex to get married, will be treated as “terrorists” and “extremists”, and they will be “prosecuted”, tried in court, and sentenced to punishment.

4.  In all matters pertaining to the conditions of the ACP-EU Treaty, the 

government of Jamaica will be under the authority of the Caribbean Regional Council of Ministers, and the authority of the European Council of Ministers, and there will be Independent National Human Rights Institutions, monitoring the government of Jamaica to ensure that all of the conditions of the Treaty are being followed, or else, for example, if they do not legalise buggery nor legalize same-sex marriage, the treaty will be abruptly brought to an end, without prior discussions.

5.   Government, whether led by the J.L.P. or by the P.N.P. , will be governed by this Treaty for 20 years, that is, the period of time in which 4 National Elections can be held.

(6)  Any other Treaty, which Jamaica may have, which contradicts the conditions of the ACP-EU Treaty, will have to be cancelled, in order for the ACP-EU Treaty to achieve its objectives.

The following effects will be felt by the home:  

1.   Children will become more inclined to experiment with sex. 
2.  (Children will change their “gender-identity.”
3. Children will accept lesbianism, homosexuality, bi-sexuality and transgender relationships.
4. Children will rebel against their parents and have sex whenever they feel like, without parental consent.

The following effects will be felt by the Society:  

1. There will be an increase in early teenage pregnancies.  
2. There will be an increase in Sexually Transmitted Infections by very young children and by older children.
3. There will be an increase in the number of people, openly displaying sexual attraction for the same-sex.
4. There will be an increase in same-sex marriages.  
5. There will be same-sex couples, whether married or unmarried, who will want to adopt children and have a family, just like opposite sex couples want to have a family.
6.  Abortions will multiply.
7. Child-Pornography could get worse.

The following effects will be felt by the church:  

1.   Church Leaders will be taken to court for refusing to marry two men or two women.  
2. Sermons may have to be reviewed by a government agency to ensure that nothing is written against the practice of lesbianism, homosexuality, bi-sexuality, and transgender relationships and abortion.
3. Church Leaders, who speak out in their Services, or on the television, or on the radio, or on the streets, against the practice of lesbianism, homosexuality, bi-sexuality, and transgender relationships and abortion, will be arrested, charged, tried and sentenced for breaking the conditions of the ACP-EU Treaty.  
4. Church Leaders and their members, who want to be faithful to God in doing what He wants them to do, will be accused of being “Terrorists” and “Extremists”, and will be prosecuted and punished for teaching and preaching what God commands in the Holy Scriptures.

 Is this what we want?  Government of Jamaica, are you so lacking in the fear of God, that you do not care how the conditions of this Treaty will cause moral chaos in our society, that you are so ready to sign this Treaty?  I appeal to you in the name of Jesus Christ, “the prince of the kings of the earth”  (Revelation 1:5), that you do not sign this Treaty, or else Jesus Christ, when He comes soon, will punish you with a worse punishment than being locked up in prison:  you will be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where you will be tormented day and night forever and ever.  (Revelation 20:10;  21:8)
