It is critical for you to take note of the following P’s for success. We are in difficult economic times globally and only the principles of God will be able to bring success.
Prayer – God created us to pray. It is the first line of communication with God. We pray because we need God’s help. (Psalm 121). Remember, prayer does not change God, it changes us and it changes our circumstances. It keeps us humble and keeps us covered. (Psalm 23, Psalm 91).
Prayer also goes before us and releases angelic assistance. It nullifies, voids and cancels satan’s plans for our lives. It stops Satanic embargos. There are many who worry and get stressed when they should instead pray in their heavenly language.
God wants us to pray in many ways – in our prayer language, pray the Word of God, pray the Psalms, prayers of intercession, thanksgiving, supplication and also of repentance. We should also pray the Model Prayer each day, which Jesus instructed us to pray. (Matthew 6: 9 – 11). That particular prayer carries keys for breakthrough and mighty deliverance as well as debt cancellation. Jesus outlined all the instructions we must execute daily in the Lord’s prayer, because it carries certain instructions for daily living and significant victories. We must also lay up treasures in heaven. Heavenly treasures endure and are the result of what you do for the Kingdom daily such as tithing, feeding the poor, giving to those in the Kingdom.
So, each day focus more on spiritual things – the things of God. Many focus on getting rich more than they focus on receiving and sharing the things of God. In Luke 5, the fishermen received true wealth. If we pursue wealth without prayer and without God there are going to be problems. There are so many today who are rich but are spiritually poverty-stricken, and this will cause them to have many problems. (1 Timothy 6: 17). While they accumulated riches on earth, they are broken regarding the things of God.
Prayer also teaches us the importance of healthy eyes, with so much lust in the world – the sensual, the sexual, mammon – and there are so many other things that control the earthly material system. Furthermore, evil, selfishness, greed, jealousies, envy – all defile the body. God wants the body to have light. God wants us to make good choices, love each other, be good stewards, avoid certain illnesses, and we must also remember that we cannot serve God and mammon at the same time. There are many who worry more about life, food, clothes than they do about the things of God and all these things bring stress, anxiety and distractions. So, our daily focus and effort must be more on God than our daily needs (Matthew 6: 33). So, we must seek more than we fret:
- Seek Him daily
- Seek Him first
- Seek him more than we worry.
- Seek for His divine increase
- Seek for greater faith
- Seek Him for guidance
- Seek Him for healing
- Seek Him to avoid sinning
- Seek Him for forgiveness
- Seek Him for mercy, miracles and strength; and
- Seek for His Presence
Presence – God’s Presence is extremely important. While God is Omnipresent, His Presence is not with everyone. When His Presence is with us, things become so easy. It brings healing, it strengthens us and it gives supernatural power to lead. We are useless without His Presence. Proverbs 10: 22 says, “The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” We are useless without God’s Presence. His Presence is blessing and power to us. His Presence gives us rest. (Exodus 33: 14). His Presence is with those who believe in Him, who love Him. (John 14: 23). His Presence gives us power, salvation and deliverance. (2 Corinthians 3: 17). Psalm 97: 5 says “The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.” Joy is found in His Presence. (Psalm 16: 11). The Presence of the Lord facilitates and sustains covenants. (Genesis 28: 16) We must pray daily for the Holy Spirit to keep us in His Presence and not cast us out. (Psalm 51: 11).
Power – Prayer gives us God’s presence and grants us His power; and God gives us the power to get wealth according to Deuteronomy 8: 18. It is the Power of Prayer in the Book of Acts that causes revival, where sick people are healed and the dead are raised to life. He gives us the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions. (Luke 10:19). Furthermore, 2 Timothy 1: 7 reminds us that God does not give us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
So, as you Pray and stay in God’s Presence, you will also walk in His Power.
