The Breath of Change (TBC Radio) started on April 12, 1998 as a small community radio station serving the homebound, and has gradually evolved to become one of the leading radio stations in Jamaica.
The station was named by the late Minette Green Shields under the leading of the Holy Spirit. It caters to a diverse audience and provides a wide range of content that appeals to people of all ages and backgrounds under its tagline, “Music to Inspire, Words to Uplift.”
The overall mission of the radio station is to provide, under God, value and satisfaction to stakeholders by employing radio, the internet, and other related technologies with the help of a proficient and highly motivated team to serve, sensitise, educate, and transform the world. This mission has taken it beyond the airwaves, as the station now posts content on various social media platforms. This includes the sharing of live videos of evangelistic outreach across several locations, including Port Royal, Waterhouse, Montego Bay, Portmore, and Spanish Town.
