A Whopper worship! Bermudian Gospel/Reggae singer releases new single

Raymond ‘Whopper Benz’ Symonds recently released his latest single, The Declaration – a bold song asserting to the world that he is a believer in Jesus Christ.

With a commitment to living to please the Lord by walking according to biblical instruction, Whopper Benz is using his music to spread the gospel near and far.

The gospel reggae singer and songwriter started writing when he found himself behind bars for drug smuggling in 2007.

It was there, while incarcerated, that he established his relationship with Christ. His excitement for his music and ministry led him to record his first single before his release from prison.

Whopper Benz’s music has been playing on the radio since 2011, and listeners have heard about his testimony and are excited about the music he creates.

“My music speaks of the struggles in the world, but it also celebrates Christ for who He is and what He is doing in our lives,” he shared.

Whopper’s unique reggae style has incorporated many sounds of music, including reggae, techno, soca, calypso, and R&G. He enjoys taking the DJ reggae style and putting it on top of these many varieties of sounds. Outreach programmes and concerts request Whopper Benz because his style effectively reaches people worldwide. His music makes you want to dance, makes you feel good, and connects the bridge between Christ and many people who do not know how to reach Christ.

Through his production company, Legion of Light, Whopper Benz hopes to create an avenue for other artistes such as himself, to come together and produce music for God. It is his goal that the music will never stop. He is determined to minister for Christ and to continually create music that saves, comforts, and restores people whenever they listen to his music.
