Bride of Christ: It’s not the enemy blocking God’s move

On September 25, 2024, I had a dream where I heard prayers of the saints going up to Heaven. I then saw a body of water and out of it rose a mighty wave. The wave rose high up in the sky and I was bracing for an impact, but nothing happened. The mighty wave rose, but it was suspended in the air, as if it was frozen or blocked. Then the words came – “Lift up your heads.”

The initial thought that came to my mind was that the enemy was resisting the move of God, but as I sat and recorded the dream, Holy Spirit brought revelation.

WHAT BLOCKS THE MOVE OF GOD IS NOT THE ENEMY, BUT GOD’S PEOPLE

Psalm 24: 1-2 tells us that “the earth is the Lord’s and that He founded it upon the waters.” But Psalm 115:16 further tells us that, “He gave the earth to the children of men…” so this is where things got frozen.

As our prayers of faith go up and God responds to us, faithful porters are needed in the earth to receive, route, and run with His answers. As the waters of life and river of healing rise up, they need righteous channels, vessels, living temples, gates, and doors to flow through. Prayers manifest through Porters.

If we do not align and partner with Heaven fully, in prayer and practice, then God is restricted, and the earth remains afflicted.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

…For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;

because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.” Romans 8: 14, 19-22 NIV

Heaven is responding to our prayers of intercession and for revival, but faith without works is dead. We cannot allow our prayers of faith to go dead; the gates must be activated, consecrated, and opened up for the King of Glory!

LIFT UP YOUR HEADS, O GATES; HEAVEN EAGERLY AWAITS!

“Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.” Psalm 24: 7-10 NKJV

The follow-up reply that Heaven requires, and is waiting for – to allow the King of Glory to come in, and to allow the One who is mighty in battle to lawfully and lavishly enter the earth – is this: Heads lifted up.

So, who is this for and what does it mean?

  • The Hebrew word that corresponds with the word ‘head’ is R.o.s.h., pronounced as roshe, and it refers to rulership, leadership, dominion, and authority. From Genesis 1: 26 – 28, we see that the role of rulership on the earth was given to the image-bearers of Christ. But the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence and the violent take it by force.

Porters of the Kingdom of Heaven will look and live like Christ!

  • The word ‘lift’ is the action that is required by those designated as ‘Heads.’ The corresponding Hebrew word for ‘lift’ is Nasa (naw-saw) and its meaning is quite enlightening.

It means to:

  1. take up, to bear, to carry the load, burden or office
  2. stand in the gap, to arise, to accept
  3. advance and carry your shields
  4. marry or be married.

Are we not the Bride of Christ? Are we not to be led by no other spirit other than the Spirit of God?

Yet, many of us have our backs turned to our Husband, our ears tuned to others, and are off pursuing our own thing.

Were we not told to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him?

Yet many of us are more inclined to hiding, luke-warming, defiling, empire-building, and avoiding our divine assignments.

The urgent call in this hour is for the Bride of Christ to arise and carry her office faithfully and wholeheartedly, in honour of her King, and for the sake of all of creation.

“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.

For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people;

But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.

The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60: 1-3 NKJV

Note from the Isaiah scripture above, that the Lord will arise over her and His glory will be seen upon her. It is our light and rising that will attract and point others to Him.

Oh, Bride of Christ, it is time to shine God’s light and battle on a higher plain by truly carrying His name and nature. You must now submit to your Husband fully, depend on Him completely and be joined with Him in purpose and purity.

Jesus is the Way; but His Bride is the porter, lamp, and custodian of the gates.

Lift up your heads, O Bride of Christ, so the King of Glory can come in at this appointed time!
