Christian lawyers ready for battle

Since the start of the 40 Days for Life prayer protest more than a week ago by the Love March Movement (LMM), the participants who have been gathering along Ivy Green Crescent in Cross Roads, St. Andrew, have faced violent and malicious acts, including physical assault and destruction of signs and posters by individuals leaving the premises of a nearby medical facility.

Mrs. Helene Coley Nicholson, President of the Lawyers Christian Fellowship (LCF), said she is closely watching these developments.

She added that, the Love March

Movement was an interested party in the recently concluded coroner’s inquiry into the death of

a pregnant female who was a client of a medical facility on Ivy Green Crescent.

The coroner ruled against two of the doctors at the facility. Freedom Come Rain understands that the person who made a death threat against Dr Thomas of the LMM on Monday did so immediately after exiting the same medical facility which was the subject of the coroner’s inquiry.

They have confirmed that the prayer protest will continue for its 40-day duration despite the attacks.
