There are moments in a nation’s life when the earth trembles, when nature responds, when familiar systems fail, and when the silence of heaven feels louder than thunder. With the passing of Hurricane Melissa on October 28, 2025, Jamaica now stands in such a moment—stricken, shaken, and searching for superior answers. Yet, our greatest tragedy is not the disaster itself, but blindness to the divine patterns that preceded and are following it.
CHARGE AGAINST THE NATION: THREE CRITICAL AREAS
These charges were delivered on October 22, 2025, during a gathering, planned months in advance, to pray for the nation of Jamaica:
- Failure to Inquire of the Lord and Depend on Him for the details of His Plan
- Many decisions are being made without seeking and waiting on God’s leading. Human assumptions, worldly wisdom and strategies take precedence.
“Woe to the rebellious children,” says the LORD, “Who take counsel, but not of Me,
And who cover with a covering, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin;
Who set out to go down to Egypt, Without asking Me, To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt!” Isaiah 30:1-2 (NKJV)
- The Spirit of Religion is Abducting God’s Lambs and Sheep
- Rituals, traditions, personalities, and appearances replace true obedience and knowledge of Christ, leaving people disconnected from God’s will and the secret place where maturity is forged.
“These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew 15:8-9
- Mixture and Strange Fire (Unrighteous Sources of Power) in the Church and Nation
- Compromise, syncretism, and ungodly alliances have remained in our houses, borders, and hearts, contaminating worship, systems, and governance.
“Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” James 4:4
DOTS AND LINES: SEEDS IN TIME
Every decision—personal or national—is a seed sown into the soil of time. Repeated disobedience, injustice, and idolatry store up negative consequences; while faithful, righteous actions store mercy.
There is always an appointed time when accumulated prayers, sins, corruption, and Godly compassion, reach a Divine threshold—when shaking comes, not ultimately to destroy, but to reveal, repair, and raise a nation.
“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:3
GOD GOVERNS BY PRINCIPLES, NOT PREFERENCE
God’s governance operates by unchanging principles, not popularity or preference. When altars grow cold or corrupted, when truth is traded for convenience and control, and greed overrides righteousness, the dots automatically align toward correction.
“Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.” Prov. 14:34
Correction comes in phases: tremors precede the quake, warnings precede the storm, mercy precedes the measure being full.
True repentance, intercession, and justice bend the lines toward redemption.
“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray… and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
AN HOUR OF UNDERSTANDING – REBUILD AND RESTORE THE LINES OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
Even in rebuilding, this is a time for spiritual understanding: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me.” Hosea 4:6
Ask the questions:
“Lord, what are You showing us?”
“How do we return, realign, and rebuild with You?”
Heaven watches, weighing every thought, decision, and action.
Jamaica, we must repent wholeheartedly, reconnect the dots, and restore the lines of righteousness.
Let the fear of the LORD return to our hearts, homes, pulpits, and national policies and practices – so we can be heard, healed, repaired, and realigned onto God’s path.
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10
Mercy, renewal, and divine timing flow only when dots and lines align under God’s hand. Restoration comes not by human might, but by covenant obedience and alignment with our Eternal Father’s principles.
“Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.” Hosea 6:1–3 NKJV
