Damar Hamlin now out of hospital – prayer changes things

Damar Hamlin Buffalo Bills safety is now back at home and in his own bed. His recovery is being hailed as ‘remarkable’ by doctors. It is also being credited to the overwhelming prayerful support he received since he collapsed 10 days ago during a NFL game against the Cincinnati Begals.

Immediately after his collapse, prayer became the focal point as both teams bowed to pray together and even a TV reporter paused on Live TV to pray aloud for Hamlin.

Since then, throughout his life-threatening crisis, prayers have been the hallmark of support. Fans have chronicled his journey toward healing, crediting God for ongoing answers to prayer.

Hamlin himself even tweeted and thanked those who were praying for him urging that they should not let up on the prayerful support.

After collapsing, Hamlin was admitted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, a few days later he was transferred to the Buffalo General Medical Centre in his home state.

He spent two days undergoing tests at the hospital before being allowed to go home.

The Bills issued a news release that quoted Dr. Jamie Nadler saying: “We have completed a series of tests and evaluation and in consultation with the team physicians, we are confident that Damar can be safely discharged.”
