Divinely Controlled Disorder!

Earthquakes are compelling reminders to mortal men that they are mere mud, powerless to a force they cannot see. A few seconds of shaking find them scampering, wailing like babies in sudden concession that neither their mothers, their money, their titles nor their links can save them. Mouths that readily deny God beg for mercy in the hope that they are spared cataclysmic judgement.

Based on certain scriptural warnings, frail humanity must brace themselves for rigorous shakings and disruptions during the last days. Already, the rise in tremors is evident.

Swarms of earthquakes have been rocking the world over recent years, and the Caribbean, in particular, has been shaking more than ever in recent weeks.

Last year, the Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies recorded more than 400 earthquakes in and around Jamaica. However, the UWI outfit did not pick up myriads of other shakings that were felt but not officially registered.

Between 2012 and 2024, there was a 51 per cent jump in earthquake occurrences across Jamaica. The number of recorded shakings in 2025 dipped somewhat, but the start of 2026 has already signalled that Jamaica must prepare for a high frequency of tremors.

There were over 677,000 recorded earthquakes across the world last year. These ranged from minor tremors to major events, including an 8.8 magnitude quake near Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula.

Jamaican records dating back to 1667 and up to 1888 detail at least 55 earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 on the Modified Mercalli Scale occurring on the island. Since 1776, we have had nine earthquakes of magnitude 7.0, enough to cause damage to tough stone buildings.

The worst earthquake in Jamaica to date was God’s plunging Port Royal, dubbed the world’s wickedest city, to the bottom of the sea floor in 1692.

Port Royal was known as the unofficial capital of Jamaica and one of the busiest and wealthiest ports in the Americas. It was the storehouse and treasury of the West Indies. At the time of the earthquake, it was a common home port for many of the privateerspirates and prostitutes operating on the Caribbean Sea. It was a place popular for lewdness, wanton murder, promotion of paedophilia, witchcraft and brutal, corrupt and ungodly operations.

The wrath of God relocated most of that city below sea level in one sudden shift and instantly exterminated about 2,000 people. In the tsunami which followed, another 3,000 people died, some due to injuries and disease.

For current generations, the images of devastation from Haiti in 2010 or Turkey in 2023 are forever etched in our minds.

An earthquake is only one of a raft of arsenals God can use to judge a nation. Divine judgement can be delivered through pestilence, hurricanes, floods, famine, diseases, abject poverty or in just about any form possible or impossible. It can be in the physical, spiritual or both, at any time through any phenomenon known or unknown to mortal man.

Today, earthquakes, wars, civil unrest, tensions among religious orders, diseases, famine, floods and other disasters destabilise the world as we know it. We are dealing with divinely controlled disorder, otherwise known as ‘judgement’, across the globe.

When the earth shakes, human order is disrupted and the strongest of men tremble.  In feverish panic, many fat cats and other dominant figures pick their feet up in their hands and bolt like lightning. Flashing past petrified children, lesser men and terrified women, they crash like thunder under fragile but readily available cover.

Regardless of the magnitude of any shaking, as soon as the earth settles, the unrighteous promptly return to their immoral abnormality. In their ignorance, they encapsulate the few seconds of terror into a forgettable blip in the general continuum of their wretched pursuits.

They do not understand that earthquakes impact all pillars of societies, including families, education, church, government, money, industries, media, agriculture and even the environment.

Under the auspices of Satan, unrighteous leaders read and understand global disruptions and shiftings as ‘crises’ which require their intervention and not their repentance.

They read the disruptions as an urgent need to stabilise sectors by further advancing the process of global control of food, resources, finances, communication and governance. Many have bought into the notion that international agencies like the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank are equipped to employ foolproof solutions to stave off divine disorders.

Satanic solutions that are already on the table include tolerance of reprobate lifestyles, the worship of multiple gods, climate change and man-made notions of peace. Usually well-thinking minds will defend these ideas and eagerly comply with the devil’s dictates, with the hope of returning the world to a level of normalcy. If it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived.

For the righteous, shakings are signs of the times and precursors to a mighty move of God.   Wars and commotions, great earthquakes and famines, pestilences and fearful sights must happen before the end of time.

Jamaica needs to recognise that we are existing only on the prayers of the righteous and God’s grace. The prophets have warned that the frequent shakings that have been fracturing the faultlines beneath Hope Bay in Portland will continue to expose feeble infrastructures and crack concrete foundations.

Spiritually, the shifting of faultlines will continue to hit public policies, political parties, lukewarm congregations, compromised church leaders and even private sector boardrooms until God gets the nation’s full attention.  It is anybody’s guess how long it will take for the crevices to crumble, fissures and fractures to fall and finally give way. Jamaica is under watch.
