DON’T THROW OUT BANANA PEELS ANYMORE

Dear Editor,

Banana peels are rich in potassium, calcium, and phosphorus—nutrients that are excellent for plant health. Phosphorus encourages strong roots, healthy flowering, and fruit production. Calcium supports root development and improves soil structure, while potassium boosts overall plant health, enhances disease resistance, and aids in fruit growth.

To make a natural fertilizer, start by cutting banana peels into small pieces. Place them in a clean plastic bottle, then fill the bottle with water. Let the mixture sit for three days to allow the nutrients to infuse the water. Afterward, pour the solution onto your plants and watch them flourish like never before.

I am,

Leomar Lewin LL
