Prophecies continue to come forward, warning that a devastating earthquake will hit Jamaica if the country and its leaders do not repent.
Jolian “DeAnna” Stephens says she has been getting these warnings since 2020, but the latest one she got on November 19, 2023 was frightening.“In this vision, I found myself with an aerial view of Jamaica, positioned atop a mountain. Above me, Yeshua loomed large, towering over the clouds. Looking down upon Jamaica, I witnessed what appeared to be a devastating earthquake. Yeshua’s voice, loud and tinged with anger, declared, ‘It is coming because my people refuse to repent,” she said.“The Jamaica I saw in the vision was desolate. Buildings teetered on cliff edges, and there was no sign of life. The Palisadoes Road leading to the airport was split in two. Amidst the rubble of destroyed buildings, one structure stood unscathed—a church painted in purple and white,” Stephens recounted to the Freedom Come Rain Newspaper.Jamaica and the wider Caribbean have been hit by a series of earthquakes in recent times. A section of the island was rocked by a magnitude-3.8 earthquake Sunday afternoon. The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) stated that the quake originated 10 kilometres south of Hope Bay in Portland, but several persons in Kingston reported feeling it. The country was rocked by a massive 5.2-magnitude earthquake on October 30, which forced businesses and some schools to close early. In the past several days, earthquakes have been recorded by the UWI Seismic Research Centre in Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Venezuela, Guadelope and Barbados. The series of events has placed citizens on edge.Stephens said she was overwhelmed and cried out for mercy for Jamaica after seeing the dream. With that plea, the vision concluded.“Since 2020, there has been a surge in prophecies warning of impending grave destruction for Jamaica. These visions serve as a call to action for every church,” she said.“We must awaken, repent, and prepare for what may come suddenly. As stated in Acts 2:17, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.”
