Faithfulness Even in the Womb

I have a tonne of things to do at work and I do not want to feel the way I felt when I was not prepared for the day by completing the tasks set out for me. Other people were also affected, and I know God is a God of excellence. So, I would have run and done the stuff for work, but I started pondering what it means to seek first the Kingdom of God.

God is Faithful
In my experience, God is faithful and has always been faithful. So, I was going to go through my mentorship process of reading the red letters, but I came to the realization by God that doing so out of ritual or obligation is not seeking Him first. I seek Him because I Love Him. I felt though that this could now be fake because I would only be doing it because of this revelation He gave me. He however further reminded me that Love is indeed a choice and that I can choose to seek Him through reading the red letters where I have reached in his mentoring me, namely, John 16: 25-28> I can choose to do this out of Love for Jesus. And that I did. I chose to Love Jesus by reading His direct Words and hearing what He has to say to me. Here is the Scripture -26 Then you will ask in my name. I’m not saying I will ask the Father on your behalf, 27 for the Father himself loves you dearly because you love me and believe that I came from God. I was blown away at How God works. In my Men’s Bible Study group (meeting since 2004) – we said that 2021 is about maturity – we become adult Christians. Here is Jesus revealing to me that the Father Loves me and us, based on our doing two things, one, we Love His Son and two, we believe that He (Jesus) came out from God and came to earth and has gone back to God.

Faithful even from the Womb
So, Love Jesus and believe in His origin and God just Loves us – This pleases Him because we are doing the very thing, He wants us to do. This is what being an adult looks like. I can see the Father saying, “Yes! They got it!” Jesus does not have to pray to the Father, (even though we will still ask in His Name) because God Himself is available to us through the finished work His Son did on the cross. God was faithful even from the womb, even before Jesus was born, even before time began. He had a plan, and He was faithful to execute the plan. He was faithful to have made provisions for us after we fell in the Garden of Eden and sinned against Him in disobedience. In the fullness of time God sent His Son to go through everything that sin’s consequence could bring upon us and then taking all that sin, all our sins to the cross. He got rid of them and nullified the enemy that incited them in the first place. We can rest assured that once we call on the Name of Jesus we shall be saved.

In Psalm 51: 5-6 David wrote:
Surely, I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb; you taught me wisdom in that secret place.

Faithful to God in Trying Times
Even in the place of our deepest pain and sin, God still wants us to be faithful, be truthful to Him and let Him know that we cannot do this without Him. He can expect us to be faithful because He indwells us, and He is always faithful. Since He is in us, the always faithful One. We are well able to be faithful. Let us rely on Him in us in the person of the Holy Spirit and have faith in Him. It is not by our intellect but by His grace that we can be faithful to God in trying times. Lord, You are teaching us wisdom in the secret place and this part of the fruit of the Spirit, faithfulness, is alive in us.
Selah!
