In recent years, the world has accelerated into a new governance
paradigm that increasingly treats human autonomy as a problem to be managed with technology, especially Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Crisis and fear are being used to normalise a system where participation in society becomes conditional. Technology is going
to be used and is already being used to control and eventually, in many instances, seek to replace human beings and to enslave us.
Artificial intelligence is being positioned as a threat and a saviour. Deep fakes and what is described as reality collapse is being introduced. Job displacement becomes a reality. Predictive surveillance also
is introduced. Bias and discrimination at different scales also come into play.
The phenomenon of misinformation now is used to deceive and ultimately destroy democracy. Because if it can be proven that with the freedom of conscience, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of making choices (as long as those choices do not infringe on the justiciary rights of others), if it can be proven that that is not the best model, then of course democracy can be made to look like something or a concept that is unhealthy. And if it is unhealthy, if it does not facilitate human flourishing, then a new construct would have to be put in place. And so democracy would be destroyed, and another form of governance would be put forward. Very often, it is really totalitarianism, dictatorship and one that is guided by autocracy.
Under the beast system, AI is also being positioned as the saviour? The objective here is that things would be arranged in such a way that AI is consulted to measure, to weigh, to allow, to disallow and to rate. AI also would be consulted where
Optimisation of policies is required, and also the allocation of resources. So, for example, if there is a disaster, they are saying to the people that it is better to pass it through the system and allow AI to allocate resources rather than human beings because human beings tend to be corrupt, and they will not ensure that everybody receives. But if you were to allow AI to distribute the resources, then everyone would receive. But nothing could be further from the truth because AI is controlled by the said human beings. Basically, whatever algorithm is prepared, AI has to follow those algorithms. Also, promoting AI as a saviour would mean that they would also use it for many other things, such as automated fraud prevention, improving safety through real-time monitoring and also devising and cultivating trust layers to verify truth and identity. So if you were to go to a government facility to access resources, there would be different checks and balances that would be put in place not managed by human beings but by AI, and they are justifying this to say that AI is not corrupted but human beings are corrupted. Nothing could be further from the truth.
