In the Beginning

From the beginning, God established lines. Not restrictions to limit life, but foundations that sustain it and bring forth the best of life. Alignment, in its truest sense, is coming into agreement and obedience with these original lines. When life aligns with what was established first, order follows naturally, and prosperity carries peace rather than strain or sorrow. When it does not, confusion and tension inevitably emerge. Foundations matter because everything else is built upon them.

Scripture reveals that all things were created through Christ, who Himself is the ultimate foundation. What He creates carries His imprint, much like a spiritual DNA. Embedded within creation are the lines that make alignment possible. This is why alignment is not foreign or forced; it is a return to what is already written into life itself. God has not left us without provision or clarity. He has supplied everything needed for life and godliness, making alignment both accessible and enduring.

When we align with God’s original lines, we are not striving to create order; we are agreeing with it. From this place, identity stabilises, purpose sharpens and systems begin to function as they were designed to. The right foundation quietly sets the stage for everything else to come into order. Alignment is not about control; it is about agreement with the truth that holds all things together.

ACTION STEPS

Pause before major decisions this week and ask: what foundation is this built on?

Identify one pattern in your life that feels strained or produces sorrow, and consider whether it reflects misalignment rather than effort.

Replace urgency with agreement by choosing one response that aligns with truth and not pressure, preference, or popularity.

PRAYER

Father God, thank You for establishing foundations that bring life, order, goodness, and clarity. Help us recognise the lines You have set and give us the grace to align with them. Teach us to build on what lasts, and to live in agreement with the truth that holds everything together.

Amen.

Shalom!
