As the filing period for the 2024 tax season approaches, the Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC) and Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) will once again partner to provide essential guidance to entrepreneurs and business owners through their annual ‘Tax Talk’ sessions.
The tax season runs from January to December, while the corresponding filing period begins in March the following year.
The informative sessions, designed to help business operators navigate the complexities of the country’s tax regime, will be held virtually, via Zoom, on February 7 for Sole Traders and February 14 for Companies.
Both sessions will commence at 10:00 a.m. and will feature TAJ representatives providing attendees with expert insights on and a clear understanding of tax obligations, compliance requirements, filing procedures and best practices for financial management.
Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive advice tailored to their specific business needs.
Entrepreneurs and business owners interested in attending these sessions are encouraged to secure their spot by sending an email to workshops@jbdc.net.
