Letters to the Editor: Stagnated by witchcraft

Dear Editor,

I have been privileged to counsel a number of people that are not able to make it in life despite their dreams for higher heights. They look like failures, but they were not originally so. God did not create them to be so, but the wickedness of men and women—agents of the devil — have caused them to be derailed.

They have been blocked in their heads or memory, not to remember clearly what they have been taught or knew well in the past, or are unable to assimilate much anymore.

The unsuspecting victims might say something like, “Mi nuh know what happen, ’cause from when mi madda or faada did tek mi wid dem to Missa James down the road or di madda woman behind the marketplace, or to da church deh fi remove the sickness from me when I was eight years old, me cyaan understand nutn inna class again…”

Some may continue: “She give mi bath and some other things, only that me cyaan rememba.”

Over the past years, during my counselling and deliverance cases, God has given me the grace to be able to see or hear certain things that happened to them, even when they were very young.

When I ask them questions about these things, they confirm that it is true.

Some of these things have caused long-term damage that cripple their mental ability, and caused some to drop out of school, or caused their inability to rank high with their peers, or reason along properly in a normal conversation. This is different from mental damage caused by ganja smoking or drug use. I am talking about the young and working class that God created perfectly, but they are lagging behind and cannot help to better their lives.

I was dealing with a case via the phone from overseas when I saw in the spiritual realm that the head of the person had concrete on it like a cap. I said, “Your head is cemented and almost nothing can penetrate it.” She exclaimed and said she always feels something heavy on her head but could not understand for more than 20 years. She complained to her parents and was taken to places for help, but nothing changed.

When I started to pray, there were cracking sounds and things were dropping off her head as the concrete broke. She was crying for pain as the pieces dropped and then shouted, “I feel light. Oh, my God! I feel light! Thank you, Jesus! I am free, now I am free!”

Some have clothing wrapped around their heads or gadgets like the hairdresser’s dryer helmet. These block the brain from receiving and sending out information and causing delays in life pursuits. These are beyond what the physical eyes can see. Only God can open the eyes of His servants to see those things, so His people can be delivered and set free – Ephesians 5:11-13.
