“LGBTQQIP2SAA+ Spells Confusion”: This Is Not Your True Identity

By Jody-Ann Gosling-Williams

The word ‘identity’ in Latin, identitatem, means – same, oneness, or state of being the same.

OUR TRUE IDENTITY

The minute I learned the origin of the word, my whole existence came into purpose and alignment with God. Wrapped in our identity is the need to know who we are, whose we are, and the purpose for which we were created. One would believe that our identity represents a trait of being uniquely different; however, that speaks to our individual personalities. Our foundational identity is rooted in being made in the likeness and image of God, our Creator, Elohim.

As males and females, made in His image, He distinguishes the differences and genders and the purpose to be fruitful and multiply. He also speaks of His likeness, which, according to Genesis 1:26–27, is the fact or quality of being alike, resembling, and representing God. The root meaning for image ‘imitari’ means to copy or imitate; in Ephesians 5:1, it says “… be imitators of God as dear children,” and Jesus said in John 5:19, “Whatever I see my Father doing, that I also do.” When we understand that we belong to God, we naturally want to emulate Him for the great qualities He possesses, which include holiness. He said, “Be Holy, for I Am Holy” (Leviticus 19–20, 1 Peter 1:15–16).

In the natural, we carry genetic information in our DNA that matches our parents. We may resemble our parents in features; we may even have similar traits and habits, blood types, or even genetic diseases, but Jesus Christ, through His redeeming blood, can counteract every evil influence and generational curse by releasing His blessings upon us as His children, so that we inherit none of these diseases.

The knowledge of our true identity has been suppressed by the world system and media, while the enemy’s lies have been loud and bold. This is because the truth sets us free and confusion keeps us bound. No doubt, the world is full of evil and that’s why the Word of God tells us to renew our minds and distinctively “not follow the patterns of this world, be separate, holy, and become a new creation by being born again.”

YOU WILL NOT HAVE OUR CHILDREN

Recently, I saw a video of a LGBTQ+ parade chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children.” Not only was this disturbing, but it was a declaration in the air for this perverse agenda to wage war against all that is holy and it was directed at our children. Immediately, I cancelled that, in Jesus’ Name.

Written on paper alone, the LGBTQQIP2SAA+ spells confusion. It stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, pansexual, two-spirited, asexual, plus other minority communities: androgynus, non-binary, gender queer, gender neutral, gender fluid, etc. The god of this world has blinded their eyes to believe they should trust what they feel and think, to be led by the pursuits of their sexual desires, their abominations and idolatries, their explorations, and their alternative knowledge. The Word of God clearly states, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all our ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct our paths.” (Proverbs 3:5–6) And not only this, it also teaches that the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9–10).

Romans 1:21-27 explains, “… Their thinking became futile, and their foolish hearts were darkened.  Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools; … therefore, God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another…Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way, the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

1 Corinthians 6:9–11 tells us, “Among those who do not inherit the kingdom of God are the effeminate, homosexuals (sodomites), idolators, and sexual immorals.”

THE GOOD NEWS

This world seeks to silence the truth about our true identity, but we ought to share Biblical truths on this topic, as many people under this bondage lack guidance and are in need of attention and intervention. The spirit of the LGBTQ+ is often inherited as a generational curse of confusion, but I want to share the Good News that this can be broken.

In other common instances, this spirit is birthed through sexual abuse, where an ungodly soul tie is developed in the realm of the spirit, bonding the victim to the offender’s perverse spirits, where the two become one flesh; this is where a transference of spirit takes place and awakens evil curiosities and brings upon them identity confusion.

To further exacerbate the matter, the now open door of media provides the evil influence of the world’s education and brainwashing. Once this idea is sown into the minds of the vulnerable, it grows with every added interaction with the community and promotion under the guise of “acceptance and love.” The Bible tells us that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways, and Jesus came to give us a sound mind. Salvation can be found in no other name.

I want to encourage the lost and confused: you are not the labels placed on you, not what your trauma or experience tells you, you are not even who you think you are, but who God says you are and who He made you to be.

It may be easier to go with the wind than against it, but the thirst you experience for love cannot be satisfied by men; Jesus is the only one who makes us whole and provides living water so that we may never thirst again. Your search for yourself starts with surrendering your way of thinking and being open to hearing the voice of the Lord through His Word.

God’s Word has the ability to iron out wrinkles; make crooked paths straight; answer, comfort, and mend your broken heart, but most importantly, it has the ability to reveal the truth that answers your raging questions and set you free.
