Victor Zembo, who hails from Zambia and is part of the Divine Embassy Ministry, is now at that point in his life where he is seeking to find that person who will complete him.
The 30-year-old has a powerful prophetic ministry, and for his job, he works in the claims department of a hospital. He said he sees himself like the prophet Hosea, who loved his wife Gomer and took her back after she violated their union.
Drawing an analogy to the story, he said he is the kind of guy who will love someone who doesn’t deserve to be loved.
“I’m that kind of person; if I’m going to be a husband, I’m that kind of person who will love a person out of anything. So I think that scripture typically just exemplifies or really shows the same heart that I have towards it, and probably it’s because I serve God and get to meet different kinds of people,” he shared.
Zembo was a guest on the YouTube singles programme “Single, Saved and Searching” hosted by Apostle Marie Berbick who is from Jamaica, but currently resides in the United States. Zembo said in searching for that perfect partner, he would need a woman who has “a sense of purpose and assignment as it is easy for us to do the work of God together.”
“Obviously, I’m a man of God. I’m in ministry. I’m serving God. If I get a woman, she has to be supportive. Remember, God created or removed a woman from Adam to help the man—a woman who will actually complement what I carry, and at the same time I also complement what she carries, so I really like a purpose-driven woman and a woman who just loves God like I do,” he explained.
“SINGLE, SAVED AND SEARCHING”
The programme airs on Fridays at 8 pm. Commenting on the catalyst for creating such a programme, Berbick shared with Freedom Come Rain that she saw a need for it.
“There are a lot of Christian singles hoping to find their mates and one of the reasons why people were not meeting other people so easily was COVID, and we were locked down for like over two years or so, so [that was behind] the decision to do it,” she notes.
Berbick also observes that in her ministry, there are a lot of singles who are hoping to get married.
Pastors in her circle too, she disclosed, are finding it difficult to meet persons in their local churches and so came the inspiration to do a programme which would bring them to the attention of other Christian singles who are trying to find partners.
With two programmes already aired, Berbick informed that most of the responses coming in are for the men. She said this highlights the fact that there are many more single women out there needing partners.
