Outcomes Depend on Mindsets

James 1:8 – “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

Our mindset has a direct correlation to our financial success. An individual must first learn to be committed and focus on their financial journey, which in fact determines your ability to advance or remain completely stagnated.

Generally, there are two extreme mindsets: the scarcity mindset and the abundance mindset.

Individuals with poverty or scarcity mindsets are in a perpetual belief that life is unfair, everything is going against them, and nothing they do will change their outcome. Additionally, they believe there will never be enough out there for everybody, and that leads to a feeling of stress, anxiety, and fear.

On the contrary, the individual with an abundance mindset believes that everyone can get a piece of the pie. They see no boundaries or limits. They can push through tough circumstances as they believe there is enough for everybody—limitless thinking.

The difference in outlook shows that individuals with a scarcity mindset may find themselves in situations where they never have enough, whereas persons with an abundance mindset always seem to find opportunities flowing their way.

As kingdom citizens, we must identify where on the scale we fall. After all, Philippians 4:19 clearly states, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

If you are that individual with a scarcity mindset, seek help from persons sufficiently

qualified to help with aligning your finances.

Let us together shout a loud, “Starting this November 2024 and beyond, I will break the negative mindset that has held me back for years. Instead, I will hold to Jeremiah 29 vs 11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans

to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
