Distraction, deception and destruction – these are three D’s that we need to be aware of in this season.
Once people are distracted, it becomes easy to deceive them, because they are not as focused, and once they are deceived, then their destruction or demise comes easily after.
There are also three “E’s” which were introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic, and those three “E’s” should always be remembered. They are, the elites, the elected and the ecclesiology (ecclesiastic, which has to do with religious leaders). The elites are those who for the most part are wealthy. The elected are the politicians; those who are elected by the people globally through whatever system of governance that they employ, be it autocracy, aristocracy or democracy. The three “E’s” will always have prominance and will influence the geo-political order
Sadly, churches have been running behind the world, allowing the world to set the tone. It is time that the ecclesiastic step forward and correct that which has gone awry. If we are going to fix the nation, we have to fix the family. We of ourselves cannot fix the family, it is the work of the Lord who is leading us. If we are to fix the family, we have to fix the father. It is not consistent with divine design to say May is family month and you are only acknowledging children and mothers. This is a deliberate strategy by Satan to have the man out of position and Satan started this from the garden of Eden. He bypassed the man and went to the woman and deceived and influenced her to make decisions on behalf of the family and then literally, encourage the man to embrace it. By putting Father’s Day in June, you are actually keeping the man out of position. It is also saying we can have a family without father. Any family without the father being recognised as head, as progenitor as God has designed it, is a family that is out of order, and any family that is out of order will not be functional, and once the family is not functional, that gives Satan legal rights to influence the impact of the family, the direction of the family and the output from the family. The Bible is clear in Psalm 127, except the Lord builds the house, they who build, labour in vain. It is deliberate for the father to be out of position, so that the family can be taken by Satan.
In Jamaica, we are about to see the plucking out of feathers and the clipping of wings. The drop in the crime rate will be short-lived. If the strategy being used is not under- girded by righteousness, it will always backfire and this one is going to backfire.
Until and unless this nation observes the three consecutive days of national mourning, fasting, prayer and repentance, we are going to be faced with some very painful moments up ahead. If we think we have a lid on the crime and violence situation, we have something coming. We are rebellious! Look at how the country is pushing carnival and other unGodly things instead of turning to God. There is also a high level of corruption. Corruption is like a cancer taking over every aspect and facet of life and living, even in the security force.
