There is a major dust storm in Iraq and many persons have not experienced one of such magnitude in recent memory.
The last time they had a dust storm of that magnitude was during the Iraq war some time ago. The dust storm is making things very difficult for the people. We are seeing other dust storms in other parts of the world. What is described as a gigantic dust storm is also heading for the United States. We are hearing terms like dust devils and we have also seen the phenomena here in Jamaica. In the United States of America, particularly the entire Southwest is experiencing some level of drought, dust storms and soil erosion.
The same conditions that prevailed during what were called the dust bowl years in the 1930s, they are saying these conditions are returning and scientists have warned that a mega drought era is now returning. Last month, it was said that there were a series of enormous dust storms, and this caused tremendous amount of chaos throughout the middle portion of the United States of America. A series of enormous dust storms triggered massive highway pileups and also a spike in emergency room visits. It caused what is called ‘dirty’ rain. Obviously, with the dust storms, when it rains for a prolonged period, the water would be dirty because of the huge amount of dust particles circulating In the atmosphere.
The Lord is warning us in Jamaica that intense periods of drought are up
ahead. We need to get back to the good old days of building tanks for water harvesting, in some cases underground tanks. We know of the regular tanks, like the black tanks, and so where you are not able to build tanks, as in the old days because of the absence of space and you have space limitations, ensure that you begin to practise water harvesting. Even the potable water must be stored and treated.
The Lord is saying, there is going to be more cases where there is contamination of water because of the many different activities that are taking place that the public is not aware of, and unscrupulous persons are engaged in practices that, over time, will have a deleterious impact on the water supply.
We will face harsher seasons of drought, primarily because of the rebellion of human beings against God. God would have given us the formula to ensure that there is a healthy relationship between us and the environment.
The Lord again has been speaking about stocking up on fuel, such as your charcoal. Always have charcoal in storage and also either your coal pot or
a car rim. If you can, store some dry wood as well. Where you have places in the
country (in the rural areas) do not sell those land; you can also do some storage there, because there are some crises moments up ahead and they will be sudden.
The Holy Spirit also mentioned natural remedies, such as your aloe vera, turmeric, ginger, garlic, pimento, mint, peppermint, the different types of mint
etc that you need to stock up on. You will need bitter wood as well and you should collect Bissi. It’s very important that you dry, not just the the pimento berry, but the pimento leaf as well. Cultivate as much as you can, especially fruit trees.
