Protest at US Embassy

The  Christian advocacy group, The Love March Movement (LMM), has been staging a series of protests at the US Embassy in Jamaica following the hoisting of the LGBTQI flag to celebrate pride month.

The group said the mounting of the flag, which is being done at several US embassies around the world, is an insult to Jamaican culture, values and laws.

President of the LMM, Dr.Daniel Thomas, said the flying of the flag is in breach of Articles 3(1)E, 20 and 41 of the Vienna Convention.

“We cannot allow this evil proclamation to go unanswered,” he said.

Protests will be held weekdays from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

“Wear your Jamaican colours and be ready to stand respectfully but fearlessly for the Kingdom of God.”
