Reaping What You Sow

Galatians 6:7–10 says, “Do not be deceived; God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.  For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.  And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

This is not just an Old Testament thing – this is God’s Divine Law. Many times, we hear people talking about “karma,” but the fact is that what you sow is what you will reap.

No Harvest Without Seed

If you don’t sow a seed, you will not get a harvest. Everything we do in life is a seed. Life begins with a seed.

We are called to do good; that is good seed. Some will spring up quickly, some will take a longer time, but one thing is certain – you will receive a harvest. We must recognise that every harvest has a season – whether good or bad. Sadly, many people are looking for good things to be their harvest when all they did was plant bad seeds.

There is a harvest for every action, and we must partake in the harvest of the seed we have sown. God promised that when we sow good seeds, He will multiply it back to us based on the soil type—some 30 times, some 60 times, and some a hundred-fold.

Don’t Be Weary

There are many Christians who have planted good seeds. They have fasted, interceded, and given—that is – sown good seed, but they are growing weary and impatient and are beginning to doubt. Because every seed we have planted has a timetable to follow.  So, while you wait, do the following:

Keep planting good seeds. Don’t stop planting.

Don’t be discouraged

Have Faith

Speak positive

Do not lose heart

Do not give up – remember the law of expectation.

Remember Luke 6:38, which says, “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

The Measure

It is critical for us to know that our harvest is directly related to the measure in which we sow. We put money in a bank, and interest is added, but we cannot make a withdrawal from the bank without first making a commitment by opening an account and depositing each time. Likewise, we can’t pull on the blessings and benefits of God without first opening an account with the Lord – committing our lives to Him, and then depositing faith in Him on a daily basis.

Don’t Refuse

Many refuse to invest in the kingdom. However, they must remember to sow the seeds of their time, skills, gifts, and talents, as well as their commitment and love. Furthermore, the most important thing to sow is the Word of God, and decreeing and declaring the Word of God daily. What we speak is what we eat.

Many refuse to honour God, but they want what He has to give.  They don’t want to tithe, nor give to the poor, yet they want protection, healing, and blessing.

There are also people who want to benefit from the grace and favour on the lives of others but refuse to support the individual and their church/ministry. Some would want Christians to pray for their healing, finances, marriage, family, and general well-being, but refuse to be a blessing to the person who prayed for them and reject the God who helped them.

There are also many who have a zeal and great desire to operate in the fivefold ministry gifts, but in turn speak derogatively about those who function in those gifts – and so they are sowing that seed for which they will surely receive a harvest. We must recognise that giving and receiving go together.

Spiritual Investment

Billionaires invest!  Their greatest harvest is the return on their investment. If we are to see a harvest, then we need to invest – in the Kingdom!  Imagine the wealth they would have if billionaires invested in the Kingdom.

There is a difference between riches and wealth.  There are many who are rich but are not wealthy and are losing out in a major way – good wife, good husband, health, peace, long life, joy, diligent/loyal workers (staff).

When organisations invest in killing out children and destroying the family, they receive a harvest of death to their organisations and in some instances their own deaths.

Have faith and begin to speak the Word of God, and you will see the environment change. (Matthew 17: 19 – 20; Mark 11: 23 – 24).  A silent Christian will never see mountains removed.

Some harvests will never come until you open your mouth and declare their manifestation. When you speak words, you are planting seeds. Your word can bring your daily provision.  Write down the names of your mountains and begin to confess to your mountains as follows:

DECREES AND DECLATATIONS

Father, in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that you will

load me with benefits daily according to Psalm 68:19. You will send rain to my vineyard in the time of drought and famine.

I decree and declare perfect health: perfect blood pressure; all organs working according to divine design; perfect weight; perfect sugar levels; perfect cholesterol; perfect immune system; perfect endocrine system; perfect reproductive system; perfect central nervous system.

I decree that my bread and water are blessed and whatever I put my hands to including business, and that you shall transfer the wealth of the wicked to me.

I decree and declare that the fire of the Holy Spirit will burn all evil altars constructed against me, my family, my household, my marriage, my finances. Destroy these altars by fire.

I call forth money and money-making ideas from the four corners of the earth.

I decree and declare that there will be no shame, but only honour will come to my household, and those who want shame to come upon us, they will instead be the ones to walk in it.

I block every monitoring spirit, spiritual hackers, and kidnappers in Jesus’ name, and I command victory in Jesus’ name, amen!
