Dear Editor,
The Love March Movement and the Jamaica Coalition for a Healthy Society are deeply saddened by the tragic assassination of our brother in Christ, Charlie James Kirk. Charlie was a true example of a faithful Christian, a devoted husband, and a courageous advocate for truth. He stood on the frontline as a warrior, boldly defending the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, the sanctity of life, the covenant of marriage, and the protection of the family.
We lift up his wife, children, family, and friends in prayer, asking the Lord to surround them with His peace and comfort in this time of grief. He has inspired a generation to boldly stand for the Word of God on a national platform. The cowardly act that ended his life cannot erase his legacy. Truth cannot be assassinated. He bravely defended Family, Faith, and Freedom, which are the ideal foundations of any nation.
We mourn, but not like those without hope, for we know He is with the Lord and that, though hard, His way is perfect. He is the Commander of the Armies of Heaven.
Charlie, you will be missed. The life you lived was bold for Christ, and now in your
passing, you have gained eternity with Him.
