In April of this year, I supported and attended the Freedom Come Rain newspaper anniversary at 51 Molynes Road, Tarrant Baptist Church. I had parked the car, across the road from the church, so while crossing the road to get onto the church premises, the keys fell from my pants pocket without my knowledge. When I was ready to leave the anniversary celebrations, I couldn’t find the keys. I searched the premises keenly and asked several persons if they had seen it, but to no avail. TBC radio also informed persons to be on the lookout for the lost keys. I retraced my steps across the road and was there praying to God to help me with my dilemma. “Daddy Jesus, don’t leave me alone in this,” I prayed, “Coz you know I don’t have any money to make another key!”
While searching inside the car (one door was not closed), I heard a lady across the road calling me. When I explained my predicament, she beckoned me to draw closer, saying, “Come and see if this is what you’re searching for.” I reluctantly went to look in her outstretched hand, and lo and behold, there was my key! I was stunned. God had opened her eyes to spot the keys hanging on a nearby light post! Who had put them there? Nobody knew. Even the lady who had found them remarked that she did not know why she had looked up at the light post the moment she saw me desperately rummaging in my car.
I thanked God for sending me an angel and thanked her, too! In all situations, put the Lord first and pray to Him for guidance. How could I have ever found the keys without His intervention? Thank you again, Lord, for this is my testimony. “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” Matt. 7:7-8
