As we step into the new biblical year 5786, which is the year of nail in the mouth, hook in the mouth, and stake in the mouth, persecution of nations, especially rebellious nations, persecution of the people of God will intensify. But in the midst of the persecution, the Lord will not only make a way but make ‘the’ way for the remnant. The problem is going to be with those who are not a part of the remnant, as there might be persons who attach themselves to the remnant, giving the impression that they are a part of the remnant. But when the persecution happens, they will not remain. There will be a rise again of the Pharaoh spirit. This spirit will attach itself to leaders globally. It is connected to the beast. As with the Pharaoh of biblical times, the name was a title, and as one Pharaoh dies, another rises up. Usually the pharaoh that comes each time becomes more cruel than the one before. Jamaica will also be experiencing that Pharaoh complex, similar to what was experienced during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the new administration that will be formed, we are going to have to be praying against that spirit. In fact, another part of the prophetic word is that, coming out of the results of the general election, (how the Lord described it) is that Jamaica is sentenced to hard labour. This pharaoh spirit will be enforcing that, even as it is being judged.
The nation is going to suffer or be affected by it because the nation has been rebellious, and the leaders and others have been rebellious. Remember, in the midst of all of this, God is still saying to Jamaica, “Repent.” If Jamaica does not repent, these things are going to play themselves out.
Now that the said leader has returned to power, there are the secret deals; there are hard conditions which have not yet been met, so the pressure is on for those secret deals to be met, and it will come right back down on the people, even as those very leaders will be pressured.
The remnant is encouraged to continue to pray like the remnant has never prayed before and to follow the instruction given by the Lord in terms of being salt and light, because as the prophetic word about 2027 is being replayed, we must not take our eyes off that.
It will be these moments, by or before 2027, when the nation will be delivered, and God raises up a righteous leader to lead the people. The remnant is not to worry. The remnant will come under attack, but the Lord said to remember the children of Israel. Remember what Pharaoh did to them, but as Pharaoh turned up the heat, God showed up and helped them to do the impossible and eventually provided them with Goshen. So God will do the same for the remnant. The remnant should not be worried. The remnant should not be distracted.
Yes, the persecution will come, but in the midst of it, God will provide a Goshen. He will provide a way. He will always make a way.
