As the election looms, we need to deliberately be asking the Lord to show us what to do. Does He want us to become involved directly in this election that is coming up, and should we vote? This is not about emotions. The entire atmosphere is pregnant, is saturated with prayers, and what this does is that it makes the manifest power and presence of God more palpable, tangible, and there is greater discernment. And the remnant will serve as the catalyst for many of the God-moments that will be happening right throughout the rest of this year, leading into 2026 and then 2027, which will be crucial.
This election will be key in that the intention of God as we pray the process through is to raise up, what He constantly refers to as “no name” individuals. They won’t be popular or well-known, and they will be among others who are well-known, so they will serve as nodes, and the Lord will use them to begin the process of breaking the monopoly because it is a process. God is going to strategically allow certain no name persons and they will serve as nodes in preparation for that massive shift that will come.
One of the things the Lord has been saying to us, is that gone are the days where any political party can sit back and say, “Oh, we are going to be leading for a long time!” No, it is not going to happen; they are not going to hold on to power for very long because by or before 2027, it doesn’t even matter which party wins, God is going to change the political order and break this two party monopoly to pave the way for the rising up of a new political order, headed by a righteous prime minister. Our duty is to pray the process through, and as we pray, the Lord will speak as we position ourselves.
If the Lord says yes, we should participate at the polls, the next question would be, how should we vote? It is not about who you voted for in the last year and who you like and who you don’t like. One of the things the Lord will be pointing you towards are policies and the belief of candidates. Is this person’s belief consistent with the precepts and statutes of God? Is it consistent with the blueprint that will pave the way for the new Jamaica? It is not about what your family voted for in the past and you voted for; it is about what God is saying.
The remnant forms about 60 per cent of the electorate, so we have the swing vote. What we are anticipating, we will not necessarily see it happening in this election, but the process would have been advanced, paving the way for what He is going to be doing in the next year and a half or two.
