This is from the One who commands the waves, walks among the lampstands, and sees every position in the house.
This is not a word of condemnation, but a word of merciful urgency from a God who sees what is ahead, knows the landscape of His people, and is sending what is necessary to prepare every house, at every stage, for what is still mounted high and moving toward shore.
On April 20, 2026, I received the following dream, and I release both the dream and the understanding that followed.
THE DREAM
I was in a house by the sea. I could hear the waves from where I was, but then I heard one that was different, unusual in its sound and in its weight. I was standing closer to a curtained window than the other person in the house with me. I parted the curtain to look.
I saw a single wave with two distinct sections—the back was mounted high at sea, raised, powerful and bluish-brown in colour; the fore had already broken and was washing ashore, moving beyond the usual inland boundary. It came all the way to the window and began to enter the house.
The water that entered was thick, moving like slush, rather than flowing freely. It was brownish-orange and earthy, not clear, with visible ice cubes in it. It did not run or spill but came to a standstill. I put my hand into it. It was surprisingly warm to the touch.
The high wave behind it remained at sea. Still mounted. Still coming.
INTERPRETATION
The Wave: One Movement with Stages
The wave represents one movement of God in stages of arrival. What has already reached the shore is the forerunner — it is already breaking boundaries and entering spaces that were once considered safe distance.
This is mercy arriving ahead of a greater move. It is the love of God expressed through correction, exposure, and refinement.
The Colour and the Ice Cubes: What is Being Surfaced
The brownish-orange, earthy substance speaks of the old nature and dross that must rise before it can be removed.
The ice cubes suspended in the warm water speak to what is in transition—neither fully frozen nor yet flowing. They are the picture of what God is in the process of thawing for His glory.
Two Groups Within the Same House
- Those at the Window
These are those who have remained attentive, positioned near the place of perception and preparation. They have yielded themselves to a process that has already begun within them.
“…the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:2-4 (NKJV)
They are experiencing the thaw—survival mechanisms, false refuges, and defense patterns—that once provided cover, deliberately being removed by God. Old wounds and faces from the past, not to re-entangle but to be closed properly. The goal is a heart so thoroughly healed and cleaned that the enemy finds no remaining entry point, no unresolved wound, and no residue with which to work. What is rising is not a setback. It is the final work before the flow. The ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. John 14:30 (NKJV). You are not regressing. You are being completed.
- Those Further Within
These are those who are more settled within familiar structures, past fruit, and established patterns. Their distance from the window is not outright rebellion, but subtle autonomy.
The danger is not absence, but faulty perception and settledness that resists God’s movement. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine… John 15:4-5 (NKJV)
Some are not perceiving the wave at all. Others perceive but yield to the comfort of familiar frameworks. Still, others speak the language of renewal while quietly holding God within a box. The parable of the sower applies to every heart every time the word of God comes. The question is always what state the soil is in to receive what God is saying at the moment.
The call is urgent. Move closer. Relinquish control. Let the soil of your heart be broken open so that new seed can take root and the new thing God is releasing can find good ground in you.
The Greater Wave Still at Sea
The wave still mounted at sea represents the greater move of God that has not yet fully arrived. Those who respond now—through surrender, faithful endurance, humility, and obedience—will be positioned to carry what is to come.
FINAL EXHORTATION
The dream is a warning and an invitation in the same breath. Two groups. Two positions. One God who sees both and is reaching both with the same merciful urgency.
What God exposes, He heals. What He thaws, He channels. What He breaks, He rebuilds in glory. What He prepares, He fills.
I pray that every heart reading this will choose the window over the interior, the deep over the familiar, and full surrender over managed vulnerability and exposure—for to those who respond, He promises completion, restored dominion, and the fullness of what the greater wave is carrying. “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?…” Isaiah 43:19 (NKJV)
