“…but to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” 1 Corinthians 8:6
Without God, nothing exists. He is before all things and all things were made by Him.
“…for by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.” Colossians 1:16
Nothing and no one exists before God because there was nothing before Him; He always is!
There never was a non-existence of God; He is eternal; He has no beginning and He has no ending. Man has been trying to figure out God; trying to fathom Him but to no avail. Only God can fathom Himself.
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become tired or grow weary; There is no searching of His understanding.” Isaiah 40:28. (AMP)
For those who will spend their lifetime trying to prove that there is no God, they will die, still trying.
“For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counsellor? Or who has first given to Him that it would be paid back to him? For from Him [all things originate] and through Him [all things live and exist] and to Him are all things [directed]. To Him be glory and honour forever! Amen.” Romans 11:34-36. (AMP)
God cannot be defined, He just is. God created man to love Him and to serve Him, but yet He loves us beyond our wildest imagination. As it is written in Scripture, “Things which the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard, And which have not entered the heart of man, All that God has prepared for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, who obey Him, and who gratefully recognize the benefits that He has bestowed].” 1 Corinthians 2:9. (AMP)
God wants to do so much in us and through us and to reveal His secrets to us, but we must desire Him above all else. “The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; And he will shew them his covenant.” Psalm 25:14
There really is but one God to be loved, to be honoured, to be worshipped.
Let us serve Him gladly and take Him at His Word: He cares for us, and is inviting us to cast all our cares on Him right now. (1 Peter 5:7)
