When the new school year rolls out, Bryan, Brenton, and Brandon Williams – triplets – will be continuing their journey of excellence as they enter lower sixth form at Ardenne High School in Kingston.
Two of the boys have earned eight passes in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate examination (CSEC), while the other copped seven subjects. They are all excited about their continued journey together.
No one can be more proud than their mother, Theresa Martin, who attends Trench Town New Testament Church of God.
When she first heard the news that she was having triplets, she was stunned. Three little lives, all at once. “It was a shock,” she admits with a soft laugh, “but also a blessing. My first prayer was for guidance, strength, and provision.”
That prayer has been answered in ways she could never have imagined. Today, Bryan, Brenton, and Brandon are no longer the tiny swaddled babies she brought home but confident, compassionate young men—each walking his own unique path, yet bound by the unshakeable bond of family.
Bryan, the creative soul, fills the home with art and imagination. Brenton, with his sharp, analytical mind, dissects problems and pieces them back together with precision. Brandon, the natural charmer, lights up every room he enters. “Each child is unique,” their mother says proudly. “And over the years, I’ve watched them grow into such amazing individuals.”
Their journey has been marked by both academic and extracurricular triumphs — with awards in mathematics, history, and principles of business, alongside achievements in sports and other activities. “We (their dad and I] encouraged them to explore,” she shares. “Whatever their passions were, we supported them.”
But raising three boys was never without its challenges. Juggling schedules, meeting individual needs, and making sure each child felt equally seen required constant teamwork, open communication, and prayer. “Our faith has been a cornerstone,” she says. “It’s given us guidance, strength, and purpose. [As parents] we’ve tried to instill values like compassion, kindness, and integrity, and help them develop a strong sense of self and purpose.”
Now, as the teens step into new chapters of life, she’s excited to see where their journeys lead. Her hopes for them are simple yet profound: “That they continue to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. That they keep chasing their passions and trusting God’s plan.”
To other parents, especially those facing the daunting task of raising multiples, she offers heartfelt advice: “Stay focused on your children’s needs, prioritise your faith, and seek support from your loved ones and community. Trust in God’s plan, take care of yourself, and cherish every moment. It goes by so fast.”
Looking back, she sees not just the trials, but the countless moments of joy — the shared laughter, the celebrations of each success, and the quiet evenings praying together. “It’s an incredible feeling,” she says with a smile. “A mix of pride, joy, and relief. Watching them grow and achieve their goals has been a dream come true.”
