The young girls who attended the 2023 staging of Passion and Purity Girls’ Conference, held in association with Inter-Schools’ Christian Fellowship (ISCF) and Christian Teachers in Action (CTIA) at Merl Grove High School on Saturday, February 18, were given reasons to keep themselves pure.
Bruce Malone, one of the overseas presenters on the island on a Bible science school tour, gave a riveting discussion on primal instincts.
Malone, who at the time of his presentation, said he had been on the island for eight days and had already spoken to 2000 students in 10 schools.
Stressing the importance of knowing the Creator and not buying into the evolution theory—which promulgates that humans originate from animals—he warned the girls that there is a reason why this agenda is being pushed.
“Why does it matter? Because we are all being trained to believe that we are just animals. We’re just a very intelligent animal, you have to understand you’re being trained to think in a certain way, to act in a way as if you’re nothing but an animal,” he warned.
Explaining the obsession with this way of thinking, Malone said animals give in to their primal instincts to have sex without care. Similarly, he said, the agenda is permeating textbooks, movies, and the internet, with everything coming from an explosion.
EXPLOSIONS DON’T CREATE ORDER
“Explosions do not create order. You’re being trained with every movie you watch; whenever there’s a man and a woman somewhere in that movie, they end up in bed together, almost every time, and if they don’t, it’s kind of weird why they haven’t gone to bed together,” he pointed out, expounding that humans have been taught that giving in to their sexual desires is only natural and nothing is wrong with “doing something pleasurable.”
He reminded the girls that they are made in God’s image, that God is not an ape or a monkey, and that the animal agenda being pushed is only to plant doubt in their minds. “You’ll hear it over and over again: trained to think as if we’re just the last animal to come from under the rocks,” he said, emphasising that animals can’t help but follow their desires, but for us, “God’s perfect plan is for the act of making love to permanently join husband and wife as one.” One time!
Marriage depicts the relationship between God and the church, and for that reason, Malone said, it should not be treated lightly.
