I got baptized summer 1992 but I really encountered the Lord in 2004. I met the Lord Jesus Christ and fell in love with Him.
On the 24 of August 2004 out of a deep hunger in my soul, I wrote a letter to the Lord Jesus Christ asking for Him to make me be His Bond Slave.
I did not understand fully what I had asked for, all I knew is that there must be more than what I see happening in churches and the lives of believers.
I did not readily see the manifest presence and power of the God I read about in the Bible and I desired more in my Christian walk with Jesus. I wanted to know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death. I needed my own personal experiences with Him and so I told Him.
Little did I know that my desire for more would immediately happen. But for sure it’s true that if you seek Him you find Him when you seek for Him with all your heart!
Immediately I began having several visitations from the Lord. The Lord would visit me between the hours of 11:40 pm and before 6:00 am. These were extraordinary moments with Him in His presence. He would anoint me. I call it anointing as I don’t know how else to describe these occurrences. He started with my head, my hands, my loins and then my feet. On one occasion when he was finished with my feet He said raise up and look down; when I looked down I didn’t see my lower body. I became alarmed and then He said look again and it reappeared.
All these things were happening to me. I sought guidance from my then church leaders but they said I had demons and told people not to interact with me. They drove my children and husband away because of how my family witnessed them treating me.
My then church family tried to drive me away but God said you will not leave until I finished. I’m training you to run with horses,
“If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?”
You will sink your roots deeper in me. I will teach you myself how to love and how to forgive. He kept me at that church through great opposition and warfare and at the proper time He brought me out!
He would speak to me in my sleep and visit me in my visions also. On one occasion His visitation made me shake so hard I fell off the bed. He picked me up and I said Lord is it really you and he said yes I’m going to put you back on the bed this way so that you know that I really came! He has shown me in visions people being held in a waiting area in great regret and torment to go into hell and another set of people waiting in joy to enter heaven.
On another occasion I felt a love indescribable coming towards me in my sleep. Then I saw a light coming, a light brighter than a trillion suns I would say. I tried to open my eyes to see if I’m seeing correctly but I couldn’t open it beyond a squint. I couldn’t look into the light but I wanted to see Him so badly I said Lord please let me see you, He said no may shall see my face and live. He was in the center of the light so I quickly recognized that the lights were coming from His body. As it drew near, I saw the light reflecting from my wedding ring on my hand which was now magnified before me. I saw every single details about the back of my hand. Then my hand turned around and in my hand was a baby girl so beautiful than any natural baby that I had ever seen. I could tell that this baby was in eternity and had not yet entered time. The power that was coming from His body made my bed bottom sink into the floor. At that time I was trusting Him for my younger daughter and so I knew that He was telling me that He heard my prayers and had already answered.
The Lord Jesus Christ is real and He wants to reveal Himself to all who desire Him and all who seek Him.
