Prayer (21/10/26)

Let us Pray,

Oh Lord! We look at the many who are unemployed and underemployed. When we look at the statistics recently, we see how many persons are suffering because their homes have been repossessed. Many are suffering because their motor vehicles have been repossessed. Their homes and motor vehicles have been repossessed because they cannot afford the payments. This is the kind of society in which we are living  in. Meanwhile,  many of our politicians are bursting at the seams. They are literally swimming in opulence.

But father, we thank you that you are not asleep. We thank you that you are mindful of the cries of the people of this nation and as they are seeking to oppress the people more with different laws that they themselves are not observing, while they expect that the people of Jamaica should observe these laws. They are holding the people accountable but they are not holding themselves accountable.

Lord, we thank you that you are judging them. You are using Babylon, in this case the United States of America, and to a lesser extent Europe to judge them.We thank you for the State of Forces Agreement (SOFA). We thank you for a number of them who are now in the cross hairs of the United States of America. We thank you for those whose visas have been revoked, government officials and also members of the JCF hierarchy.

Lord God we pray for sudden resignations as we see in the realm of the spirit that the United States have already compiled a file on all of the government officials. They know of those who have run afoul of the law, despite still operating in their various positions. They also know of the dark side of the police force. A number of top ranking persons are under investigations. Lord, we thank you that the screws are being tightened. Also other persons in the private sector and public sector are under investigation. Lord God, we thank you that before the end of this 2026, a number of them will be forced to step down.

We thank you Lord for the serious repercussions that are up ahead as the United States continue to apply pressure. Lord, we thank you that feathers are being ruffled, feathers are being plucked out and wings are being clipped. We pray oh God that you will continue to manage this process. While this is taking place,  judgement continues in other ways in terms of the weather as well as the economic conditions. In the midst of the judgement, we pray oh God that the nation of Jamaica will somehow come to herself through her leaders and repent. Three consecutive days of national mourning, fasting, prayer and repentance. Lord God we pray that this will happen before it is too late.

We continue to thank you that you will be visiting the clergy.

There are too many of our church leaders who are compromised; too many of them who are not able to speak up and speak out; too many of them are keeping their constituents in the dark because they are not in the position to teach them truth, to speak the truth or to preach thus saith the Lord. Where such church leaders men and women fail to repent, we ask oh God that you will expose them and replace them. Remove and replace them with righteous men and women of God.

Amen
