An Uppercut to the Enemy’s Windpipe!

The very foundations of the kingdom of darkness are shaken when its members renounce wickedness, repent, turn away from sin, and accept salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

It is like an uppercut to the windpipe of the enemy.

CONVERSION THERAPY

For some time now, the concept of “conversion therapy” has been frowned upon by those who are bent on normalising homosexuality and transgenderism.

In fact, the truth that repentance, deliverance, and turning away from sin really provide a lifetime cure for same-sex relations and other spiritual ailments is unreal to those who are sold out to Satanic forces.

So, it is not a surprise when the news reports that a Christian charity worker in Malta is facing jail time after he announced that his belief in God has enabled him to turn away from a homosexual lifestyle he no longer wants.

Matthew Grech, 33, is facing potential fines and imprisonment for allegedly falling afoul of his country’s ban on “conversion practices” when he explained to a local media outlet last year how he left homosexuality behind because he came to believe it was wrong.

Being freed from the entrapment of sin and shame, the charity worker ventured onto a public television platform, sharing his testimony in a live interview.

Since the Word of God is infallible, the enemy must still be defeated by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony.

The charity worker’s testimony, which is a potent demonstration of God’s grace and the power of true repentance, is weaponised by the enemy against him. It is being used as an admission of guilt in a Maltese court.

The young man was called by the police, who served him with a prosecution order summoning him to court in February.

Legal counsel for Grech maintains that his case is the first of its kind and threatens to set in motion a legal “domino effect” that could endanger freedom of speech and religious liberty throughout the Western world.

WILDLY LIBERAL COUNTRY

Malta is a small country in Europe where the majority of the population is Roman Catholic. Regardless of its religious underpinnings, it is a country that takes pride in its wildly liberal worldview. Prostitution is legal, and it is a popular tourist destination where the varied tastes of visitors are gladly accommodated.

In 2014, the Maltese parliament approved a civil unions bill that grants marriage rights to homosexual couples, including the possibility to adopt children.

Malta was ahead of its European counterparts in legalizing same-sex unions. Its religious foundation did not prevent it from banning Christian deliverance, in the form of what is offensively branded as “conversion therapy.”

What the police in Malta may not know is that Jehovah, who freed this young man from the clutches of homosexuality, hates this practice, labels it an abominable sin, and has destroyed major cities for this and other detestable offences.

GOD’S WORD MUST PREVAIL

Whether or not Malta, its police, and its parliament agree or disagree, the Word of God must prevail. The charity worker knows in whom he believes and knows that the threat of prison cannot hold him captive to the wiles of the enemy.

He knows that Jehovah is well-renowned for setting captives free, for demolishing jail cells through songs of praise, as in the case of Paul and Silas, or even through the interpretation of dreams and visions, as in the case of Joseph.

In these end times, the enemy will rile up, seeking whomever he can devour.

As all situations and circumstances are under divine control, this Malta case may become the catalyst for the global spiritual revival in these end times.

It is not about freedom of speech. It is the freedom to stand on the side of righteousness.

The enemy cannot win. God’s sheep know His voice and will hear Him. The highest court, presided over by “the God of Judgement,” has already spoken on this matter. The enemy is defeated.

It is written.
