Churches mobilise to take back Jamaica

Prophetess Mary Wildish, who pastors the Trumpet Call Ministries International based in St. James has urged the church to be bold and step out in spiritual warfare to release Jamaica back on the path of righteousness.

Wildish, who has been known to speak out publicly against Jamaica’s high murder rate, has attributed crime to occultism and spiritual evil. She has committed financial and spiritual support to the Al Miller led Fellowship Tabernacle church in its re-commitment to “take back Jamaica.”

A special re-commitment ceremony was organized by Fellowship Tabernacle at its Kingston Headquarters recently for the “take back Jamaica” initiative. The church was able to pull hundreds of members from its Mandeville, Portmore and Fort Lauderdale branches for the event. The church intends to restore Jamaica which is trapped in the pride of idolatry, the mystique of the occult and institutional fraud.

Also lending support during the re-commitment service were president of the Independent Churches of Jamaica, Bishop Dr. Neville Owens and president of the International Association of Kingdom Churches and Ministries (IAKCM), Dr. Peter Morgan. IAKCM is a global network of Christian Leaders and Ministers.

Morgan who delivered the main sermon, indicated that he was very happy with Fellowship Tabernacle’s renewed mandate of becoming the manifestion of God’s Kingdom in Jamaica and the Caribbean.

Dr. Patricia Morgan, renowned international conference speaker, praying for Reverend Al Miller who she referred to as a spiritual son, while drying his tears at the end of a rededication service held at the church on Sunday.

“The Church has bottled up the Word of God into religious traditions… the Word of God needs different structures for 21st Century execution,” said Morgan, while outlining ways in which the Church could be more relevant to the needs of modern-day Jamaica.

Morgan declared that he was in full support of what Fellowship Tabernacle is seeking to accomplish and shared that he  will also be mobilising support through his own church network to work with the church to restore Jamaica. In turn, his wife, Dr. Patricia Morgan, pledged the support of her three sons and one daughter to help Fellowship Tabernacle in its goal to transform Jamaica. One of her sons pastors the Go for God church in Jamaica, and all the family members are involved in Christian work.

Dr. Owens, who is also the Founder of Love and Faith World Outreach Ministries,

indicated that he will be pledging financial and spiritual support for Fellowship Tabernacles nation-building efforts.
