Giants within the technology industry have been naming artificial intelligence (AI) systems, data centres and computer technology after Greek gods in recent years.
The move, which is considered a fulfillment of Bible Prophecy, has set the stage for a massive push of the Mark of the Beast through the Information and Communications Technology sector.
The tech corporations claim that the use of the names are to instantly convey power, scale, wisdom, and core values without needing massive marketing budgets to promote their products.
However, many see the development as an effort to introduce other gods, outside of the God of the Bible, to the billions of persons using technological solutions in their everyday life.
In addition, a modern religious movement called Hellenism (or Hellenic Polytheism) has been reviving the ancient practice of the worship of Greek deities in modern times. Groups and individuals in Greece and around the world have been building altars, offering prayers, and holding festivals for deities like Zeus, Athena, and Poseidon.
While Hellenists hold legal recognition in Greece and small international communities, they remain a fringe practice compared to major world religions. The use of the names of the gods by the tech giants has empowered the push away from Christianity.
Georgia based Pastor Ricky Scaparo, believes it is not coincidental that all the big tech giants are naming their innovations and products according to Greek Mythology, Roman gods, Titans, fictional beings or cosmic imagery of legendary figures.

“It was strategic. It was purposeful and it is spiritual. We wrestle not against flesh and blood…, but principalities and powers and rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places,” he said.
Amazon unveiled its Titan model in November 2023 which is used in reference to two of its major innovations. Titan is an industrial mobile robot designed for heavy lifting inside Amazon fulfillment centres. It is also a foundational AI model built to help content creators and graphic designers generate, edit, and streamline visual content using natural language prompts.
The Titans were a powerful first generation of giant gods. They were the children of Uranus (the sky) and Gaia (the earth). Amazon also has a large artificial intelligence model named Olympus for video analysis. In Greek mythology, the twelve olympians were the main gods and goddesses. They ruled the universe from the top of Mount Olympus, led by the king of the gods, Zeus.
Google, the most used search engine has named its AI assistant Gemini. In Greek mythology, Gemini represents the twin brothers Castor and Pollux (also known as the Dioscuri, meaning “sons of Zeus”). They are the figures behind the Gemini zodiac sign and constellation, symbolizing deep brotherly love, loyalty, and the bond between mortality and divinity. Google also has AI models named Minerva and Pegasus. Minerva most famously refers to the ancient Roman goddess of wisdom, strategic warfare, justice, and the arts, equivalent to the Greek goddess, while Pegasus is a famous immortal winged white stallion in Greek mythology.
