“Double-Double” Rainbow

Folks at the Tarrant Baptist Church on Molynes Road witnessed a double rainbow while morning service was in progress on the last day in March 2026.

The splendour of the KING, clothed in majesty, lit up the morning sky on the day before Pesach 2026 begins.

“The Promise still stands—great is God’s faithfulness towards us.”

Rain reader V. Sutherland shared the picture of the same double rainbow she saw from her home in Shortwood shortly after 6:30 a.m. She caught it on camera while tending to her 14-foot-high green banana trees in her backyard.

She admitted that Hurricane Melissa had battered her towering trees just a few months ago, adding that she had slashed away all their leaves before the wind picked up speed. When the storm abated, a few were left standing, though battered and bruised.

But look at them today—tall, regal, and vivid green!

It is incontrovertible, without question—great is God’s mercy towards us!

Before I go, one small note re green bananas. I saw a lady in a supermarket this week with two bags containing approximately 26 fingers…in total! When I commented on how lovely they looked and asked the price, she showed me the bill and gave me a face that said, “I can’t bring myself to say it out loud!”

Readers, frankly, I couldn’t either!

One package cost $1,900+ and the other was a little over $2,000!

We both agreed she could get quite a few suckers for that price and plant her own since the love was so strong.

But the Promise prevails…great is God’s faithfulness towards us: the price of green bananas is actually trending down.
