How Excellent!  Judith Gayle releases new album

Gospel recording artiste Judith Gayle released her 8th studio album, entitled How Excellent, and it has been receiving some positive feedback. Although the album was officially launched last weekend (December 9), doubling as a birthday celebration at the Astoria World Manor in Queens, listeners were already enjoying the encouraging tracks.

Tracks on the album include Survive the Night, Nobody Like Jesus, Slayed With Praise, God is My Life, and the title track How Excellent, among others.

Tracks on the album will incite listeners to offer praise and worship, as well as allow them to look to Jesus in whatever they are going through.

Slayed with Praise “I am gonna slay them with my praise, I am gonna slay them with my praise, cause I must move ahead.” Any Christian who fights battles knows that praise can bring about miracles, and that message is enforced in this upbeat track on the album.

Judith Gayle-Wright, who hails from Chateau, Clarendon, has always had a love for music, and that love has seen her enter the Tastee Talent Competition, and although she didn’t win, it gave her the taste of performing on the big stage.

Judith relocated to Negril to reside with her brother, who owned and operated several businesses along the northern coastal areas. She was eventually employed with Hedonism II Resort as a ‘singing entertainer’, and she entertained on the North Coast of Jamaica for approximately ten years.

In 1998, Judith was the first runner-up in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission Popular Song Competition with her first single, ‘Mi Na Lef Jamaica’.

Judith soon felt a pull from God calling her back to the Christian faith, and she finally gave up her ‘secular’ lifestyle and singing career to be sold out to God. Judith is currently a proud member of Overcomers Christian International.

As a transformed woman, Judith Gayle, a radical minister, became a household name in Jamaica with her hit song “Hey, hey, Jesus is alive.” Since then, she has released remarkable albums such as “Jesus is Alive,” “The Sun Shines Again,” and “Broken to be Blessed,” which are strengthening and renewing hope in the hearts of thousands.
