Letters to the Editor: Tone-Deaf Government

Dear Editor,

My wife and I were watching an extensive advertisement of children warning other children not to have sex before maturity, and to avoid allowing people to touch them. At the conclusion of this advertisement, there were two organisations that sponsored it: (1) The European Union and (2) RISE Life Management Services.

We were shocked! The “European Union” has pressured the Caribbean, African, and Pacific governments to sign the “Samoa Agreement,” which requires as conditions of trading that countries change their constitutions and laws to allow “Comprehensive Sexuality Education.” It will foster the legalisation of buggery, same-sex ‘marriage,’ gender identity, transgender relationships, and abortion. It will lead to the prosecution of those who oppose these sexually immoral acts and abortion as being against what God has commanded in the Holy Scriptures, labelling those who oppose as “terrorists” and “religious extremists.” Any government that does not carry out these changes in its constitution and laws, in its education system, and in society may have its trading immediately suspended. “RISE” is a counselling institution that does not oppose same-sex relationships.

This advertisement is being done to make the “European Union” and “RISE” appear as if they are on the side of Christians, who oppose childhood and teenage sexual relations. However, this is also being done to cause children to be less on their guard and more receptive to the European Union’s message of the acceptance of opposite-sex relationships, same-sex relationships, transgender relationships, and abortion.

Parents, protect your children from being deceived by educating them about the kind of sexuality that God wants, which is sexual relations between a man and a woman in a marriage relationship only. This is designed by God to be a mutually loving and respectful relationship that cares for children who are born into it and does not abort their children.

I am,

Joseph Buckland
