We as concerned citizens are so sad! The changes to the Jamaican Bank notes is giving us some serious concerns. From its release, we have been looking at the whole design and representation of the two men on five of the notes, and the colour code of all six bank notes is also worrisome!
Inspecting the currency through ultra-violet (UV) light; the colour reflecting the fake rainbow of the LGBTQ flag is observed and this is really disturbing. Jamaica as a nation is constitutionally against such lifestyle and promoting same sex relationship with our Jamaican new bank currency is an abomination that we as citizens refuse, reject and renounce.
Questions
What are the objectives of these changes currently? Why the two thousand dollars notes and two men on the design? Whose idea and who are we trying to appease with such design?
Is this a case of a group pushing through its agenda by giving money/ grant funding?
The Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) Governor, Mr. Richard Byles, Finance Minister, Mr. Nigel Clarke and the Prime Minister, Mr. Andrew Micheal Holness and whoever is responsible, are called to answer these questions and provide convincing answers to the hardworking, decent Jamaicans forthwith!
While we await your responses, let it be known that we will not accept these banknotes in their present form and design. Your cost of printing is irrelevant, because the life and destiny of our Jamaican people and the next generation of our children are much more valuable than the cost (one billion dollars) of printing the new currencies. Moreover, we cannot accept it as we do not want to sin and commit idolatry and attract the wrath of God!
Nearly 85 percent of Jamaicans are not supportive of the lifestyle that you are expecting us to promote and handle daily in doing business and serving our God and family with these currencies. Besides, there was no proper consultations and consideration of our set Christian values as a Nation. Jamaica under God is still a Christian and a God-fearing Nation.
We are rejecting it in all aspects as it does not represent us Jamaicans: spiritually, culturally and morally. It does not glorify our God, the creator of all things, Yahweh!
You might say our heroes and leaders are on the banknotes, but you have just dishonoured them with the colours of LGBTQ flag embedded with them in the currencies. They were never in support of such an abominable lifestyle, as they were knowledgeable of our history and hence the buggery law. If they see what is happening now, they would be horrified, just as we are!
Our recommendations
We need to place on our currency symbols of our righteous values, rich agricultural and environmental resources that beautify our land, what our people appreciate and what glorify our God. Examples of these are the colour green for growth and “Eternal Father Bless our Land”.
The United States of America placed on their currencies “In God we Trust” which speaks to the Biblical value of their founding fathers and nation.
Conclusion
Note Mr. Holness, Mr. Byles and Mr. Clarke; this Jamaican currency design is disgusting, blatant, abominable, and insulting to the majority of our God-fearing Jamaican population!
We are standing up specifically against this LGBTQ- lifestyle and colour coded new Jamaican currencies (bank notes). We are demanding that a corrected design be applied with immediate effect. It is unconstitutional, and if our concerns are not addressed accurately, a lawsuit will ensue.
Egypt, a nation which is predominantly Muslim, rejected their LGBTQ flag embedded new currencies and they were told it was a sample and that it will be corrected. It was in the news.
Nigeria’s new currencies have similar colour to our Jamaican colour with two men on one of the notes. Are these a co-incidence, or is this a globalization of LGBTQ- visibility?
What will we do as Jamaicans? We will pray, stand up, speak out, refuse, reject and renounce it.The Lord God Almighty will judge in this matter and deliver us as a nation and secure Jamaica for the next generation. He will champion our cause and rescue us from all evil powers in Jesus mighty name, amen!
