On September 15, 2023, York’s Organic Products will celebrate two years in the Jamaican manufacturing industry. To God be the glory.
We use this opportunity to give a word of encouragement to potential Kingdom business owners, especially those who are petrified of taking that first step to actually start their own business.
York’s Organic launched with soursop leaf tea during COVID-19, when there were so many other competitors in the industry selling teas from different companies, but God would have it that we stood amongst the top companies, locally and internationally, with our teas.
God proved so many times to us that He can make streams appear in the desert; for often we would find that whenever we visited most of our distributor’s locations, our tea stock level would be low and require replenishment.
NEW PRODUCTS
During our second year of operation, the LORD instructed us to add two new products to our line: rosemary with ginger tea and rosemary seasoning.
As we continue on this entrepreneurial journey, still fairly young, we want to give God thanks for everyone who has supported us, everyone who has bought our products, and everyone who has sown into our business.
We thank God because He is the CEO and managing director of our company. Just like He did with Adam in the Bible, He gave us the mandate to boldly step out and take care of what He had gifted us. God told Abraham to bend the soil or to manage it, so we are just the managers of this business. We take all instruction and direction from Elohim.
If you’re contemplating starting your own business, put the matter before the LORD and allow Him to lead you. Even if the field is saturated with a product similar to yours, once God gives the vision, He will make the provision.
