The Association of Christian Communicators and Media (ACCM) is sending a strong message for Jamaica to stop and think about the consequences of the path the country is on.
“Jamaica is already under judgement, and we need to have an understanding of what God is saying and what the consequences of disobedience look like. We have seen it in other countries. It is a dangerous road that we are heading down, and we need to stop, repent, and turn back from it,” urged the president of the Association, Jenni Campbell.
With the strong push to change the order of God’s natural and perfect plan according to Genesis 1:27 “Male and female create He them”, Campbell noted that the ACCM continues to be concerned about the renewed push by LGBTQI activists and others to force changes to the Jamaican Constitution as it relates to the Buggery Law and the prohibition of abortion.
“The repeal of the Buggery Law and the legalisation of abortion in Jamaica will undermine the family, endanger the nation’s children, and attack Godliness,” she highlighted.
On Friday, May 19, the ACCM will host a family forum at 6 p.m. at the Trumpet Call Ministries International; Howard Cooke Boulevard, Montego Bay, under the theme Man + Woman = God’s Perfect Plan.
Commenting on the event, which is the second part in the series of such forums, with the first held in Spanish Town, Campbell said it is a call to action and the strengthening of the people right across the nation. It is also a call to prayer; a call to repentance, and a call to recommit to God, the word of God, and the tenets of the scriptures.
“It is an information forum that will be presented to the people in that region, and it is not just Montego Bay and the wider St. James, but also the adjoining parishes and townships,” she pointed out, adding that the information presented will be very clear so that the people can understand that there are two genders, male and female, and that righteousness still exalteth a nation and sin is still a reproach to any people.
The forum will not just be about sharing information, as attendees will have the opportunity to raise their concerns and have pertinent questions answered by Christian experts in the field such as doctors and lawyers. These individuals will be able to interpret and explain some of the issues that “tend to be a little bit confusing and muddled and make them clearer.”
“At the end of the day, if there is a referendum on the issues of whether or not buggery should be decriminalised or abortion on demand is to become the rule of law, the people of the true and living God ought to be in a position where they are able to make the right choice, because regardless of what people want to say, Jamaica is still a Christian country, and the fact of the matter is that the remnant army of Jehovah still lives here,” Campbell stressed.
She urged the remnant army in Jamaica to hold the fort because the judgement is nigh. Campbell said if we remain true to God, his mercies will endure.
Word for pastors
While cognizant of pastors’ calendars, Campbell is hoping that church leaders will give due consideration to what is happening now in these end times and rally their congregation to attend the event.
“If God is doing something mighty, they ought to try and be a part of it, because the greater the numbers, the more impact we will have in terms of what the government or the nations outside of Jamaica may be putting pressure on the government to do. So it is very important that they be a part of it.”
The forum is being held in partnership with Freedom Come Ministries, MTM TV, and a number of other Christian media organisations. The ACCM is comprised of Christian media owners and workers in Jamaica, across the region, and in countries like Canada and the US.
Along with the forum, Freedom Come Ministries will also be holding a Solemn Assembly, which is an all-night prayer, music, and word extravaganza dedicated to God.
Buses will be leaving Kingston and other parts of the island to meet at the Trumpet Call Church venue.
