Yolande Lee has been a faithful church member of the Pure In Heart Ministry, the church gospel artiste Ryan Mark Reynolds pastors, but she had no idea he was planning to surprise her with a car.
Before turning over the keys to one of his two be-loved cars – Favour and Prophet, Reynolds said Lee has been without a ride for sometime, but that didn’t stop her from attending church. In fact, she was even promising others rides even though she didn’t have one herself!
“You ever see anything like that?” he humorously asked.
After explaining that he bought the car last year for business purposes, he said it was in “tip-top’ condition, and it was his pleasure to give the keys to Lee—something he had always wanted to do—to bless someone with a car.
An emotional Lee hugged Reynolds as she accepted the keys.
The insurance and licence will be due for renewal in February, but Lee will not have to worry about that as Reynolds promised that Pure in Heart Ministry will be underwriting the cost.
Commenting on his generosity, he wrote, “Who would have thought that January 22, 2023, I would have given away a car? Certainly not me! There was a stage in my life when I got tired of receiving because I was unable to reciprocate. I cried out to the Lord and asked Him to provide for me so I can be a giver; I became frustrated with living in lack or having persons cater for my needs.
He heard my cry.
When the Lord shifted me from that season, with discernment and wisdom as my guides, I started to touch several lives through giving.
From randomly paying for persons groceries to assisting persons with major projects
While I’m not yet where I aspire to be financially, I’ve learnt that I don’t need to have a lot to give. I will continue to give secretly and publicly, according to God’s leading.”
